Built using local and sustainable materials such as handmade Lombok terracotta tiles, bamboo weaves, recycled timber and stones quarried from the road behind Jeeva Klui, the resort is both socially and environmentally responsible and is one of only two resorts in Lombok that captures and recycles rain and waste water.
Located at the edge of the Wallace Line, Jeeva Klui's magnificent 170 meters beach front commands views across the Indian Ocean to the islands of Bali and the sacred Mount Agung volcano. Jeeva Klui has been mentioned as one of the 15 best places in the world to see the sunset in the March 1, 2014 edition of the Melbourne newspaper “The Age”.
Jeeva Klui's total 35 suites and villas include 18 one and two story absolute beach front suites and 9 studio and one bedroom pool villas spread across the two hectarelandscaped grounds. The resort boasts anocean front hillside spa complex and an herb and vegetable garden located in front of the Balinese Hindu temple at the rear of the property.
The beach at Jeeva Klui is protected by an offshore reef immediately in front of the resort that creates a calm "lagoon" area for swimming and snorkeling. The reef also protects the beach for turtles as Klui Beach is one of the few beaches in the area where turtles come to lay eggs.
In almost every culture, food is the center of daily life. The act of breaking bread transcends age, ethnicity and status. It’s that very communal and convivial atmosphere that we deliberately designed at The Waroeng, the intimate yet enticing restaurant at Jeeva Klui resort.
Located on the oceanfront verandah and overlooking the swimming pool, the beach, and the ocean beyond, Waroeng’s casual dining attitude reflects shades of a traditional Lombok village long house. Open throughout the day, guests are invited to enjoy a selection of Western, Indonesian and Asian dishes at the Waroeng long table, under the Banyan tree on the outdoor dining verandah, or on the beachfront deck.
Pearl’s at Jeeva Santai
Pearl’s at Santai, is named in honor of Pearl, who opened the first hotel in Mangsit at Santai over 30 years ago. Pearl’s love of Lombok is reflected in every aspect of Jeeva Santai.
Pearl’s at Santai is a relaxed open-air restaurant and the center of daily life at Jeeva Santai. With the Library and Sunset Terrace, Pearl’s overlooks the swimming pool, the beach and the ocean beyond. Pearl’s open air style and casual dining attitude capture the best of Indonesia’s welcoming culture.
