Dunia Baru, which means “new world” in Indonesian, carries a crew of 18 and can host 14 passengers. Launched in December 2013, the 51m Dunia Baru may be traditional in style, but she is the product of passion and expertise from around the world.
Designed by an American architect and built from Indonesian teak and ironwood by Konjo Boat Builders in Borneo, her interior and marine systems were completed in Bali, her sails were made in Thailand, her rigging is from the United Kingdom and her marine systems are to ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council) standards, ensuring unparalleled levels of service and reliability.

SERVICE & FACILITIES
Dunia Baru is outfitted in the latest technology to ensure you have every convenience at your fingertips, plus a few extras that go above and beyond your usual yacht charter. Use the ship’s iPad to control the Sonos 14-zone system that covers all indoor and outdoor areas including the 30 speakers and subwoofers throughout the ship. Catch the latest movies and TV shows on the 60-inch LED TV with satellite channels in the lounge, or forgo the background noise and just enjoy the sound of the sea amid soft LED strip lighting. At night the 34 underwater LED lights illuminate the ocean and attract marine life big and small, and by day you have access to top-of-the-line dive gear, jet skis, sea kayaks, SUP (stand up paddle) boards, water skis and fishing gear.
The 18-member crew includes a private chef who will prepare you culinary delights like freshly grilled seafood, Indonesian fare, and Western classics, as well as a cruise director who can arrange special excursions, a dive instructor who can take you to breathtaking underwater worlds, and an experienced captain who will make sure the sailing is smooth and the scenery spectacular.
SNORKLING, DIVING, KAYAKING, SAILING....
Under water, Indonesia's offerings are no less enticing and any day could see you diving with turtles, swimming with manta rays and exploring elaborate coral reefs. You could kayak across the brooding water of a crater lake, or head out onto the ocean on a stand-up paddleboard. If you want to pick up the pace, you could fly across the water on one of the yacht’s jet-skis or take the dingy across to an island and explore an isolated beach.
Dunia Baru sails within the Coral Triangle, the richest marine ecosystem on the planet – and so the diving we offer during our charters is absolutely superb. Dunia Baru has a fully operational dive center that’s headed up by a PADI IDC dive instructor. We cater to certified divers, but we also offer courses for those wanting to get certified, or those wanting develop their skills – such as deep diving, diving with Nitrox, night diving and underwater photography courses.
Before each dive you will go through a comprehensive and informative briefing, where one of the guides will show you a map and photographs of the site you will be diving. We have four dive tenders, which means that we can offer separate dives that cater to different levels at the same time, and in different locations.
More than just a fully-equipped dive-boat, Dunia Baru carries equipment for a comprehensive range of water-sports activities, including two jet-skis, three kayaks, Sunfish sailing dingy, standup paddleboards, banana boat, surfboards, water-skis, fishing rods and tackle, and three inflatable ribs.
